Christine Pigott / Crew

1st Assistant Director - Christine Pigott

Christine Pigott is a third year student at Brooklyn College, where she is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Television & Radio. She aspires to be a director and producer for short films, music videos, and television programs.

In her spear time, she enjoys writing scripts and bringing them to life with her friends. She also has taken up a strong liking for editing and has edited over a dozen projects. When she is not behind the camera, you can find Christine on her bike. She loves cycling outdoors and taking in mother nature.

Amber Yoder / Crew

Assistant Gaffer - Amber Yoder

Amber Yoder is a producer/writer of innovative film and new media content. An honors graduate from Denison University (2007) with a B.A. in Media, Technology and the Arts, Amber has worked most recently as Associate Producer on the BBC funded documentary BLAST! with Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Devlin.

As an integral member Respect Films, Amber has worked as a producer on the web series The Third Age and the documentary Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods.

A co-organizer for the NYC Film Collective, Amber has been instrumental in organizing and structuring this production oriented community film group. Amber has produced several shorts with the NYCFC including One Dollar, Thieves, and Super Action News: Zombie Apocalypse. Amber's current projects with the NYCFC include the short film The Last Ride of John Doe and the feature length film The Boyz of Summer.

Stivan Widick / Crew

Production Sound - Stivan Widick

Filmmaker and cinematic artist Stivan Widick is a native of Northern California where he studied fine art at university while working as a paid student archaeologist. His first proper job as a teen was working for a production company wherein he learned lighting and stagecraft before going to work for Post-Newsweek as a camera operator and editor.

In 2000 Stivanco-founded Persistence of Vision, a commercial production company based in South Florida. His television, short film, and feature projects have carried him as far as New Zealand, Australia, and Germany, and his work has appeared on local and network television, including HBO.

He currently resides in New York City where he provides narrative-driven visual effects and sound production services for independent film and television projects. Stivan survived an airplane crash as a child and although he can now fly a plane, he has never learned how to land.

Paul LaPlaca / Crew

Sound Engineer / Original Music - Paul LaPlaca

Paul LaPlaca is an audio engineer and composer located in NYC.

He has a long history in music and sound production. He has performed and mixed over 100 radio and television spots and mixed 3 independently released CDs.

"Testimony of a Devotee" is his third film project.

Head Makeup Artist - Heloisa Barroso

Born January 5th 1975, in Rio De Janeiro , Brazil, a Country best known for their yearly "Carnival Parties" and the creativity invested behind these huge parties , Heloisa "lola" Barroso also known as "Elle" to her family and closest friends, was already creating costumes with the help of her mother Carmen at the young age of 4 in order to win best costume prizes in which she did at many Carnival events..

At the age of 8 little Lola relocates to the USA. A New Yorker for 26 years now, Lola traveled and worked various high fashion events from NYC fashion week to Miami and California to name some locations. Lola briefly lived in Dominican Republic touring with her ex-husband Producer/DJ "Wilson Santos" as his and his Record Label 's manager. Always putting a creative edge and input towards his Label, music and parties.

In 2006 after the birth of her son "Dionysus" Lola settles down in NYC where she now resides and freelances her work out of "Zion Artistry And Fashions" as a Makeup Artist/Visual stylist and has been fortunate to work with several successful individuals to name a few from Designer Todd Oldham to actor Steven Baur of "Scarface". Ms Lola continues to follow her dream to push herself to the next level of creativity either be on screen , print or events.

Jewel Redhead / Cast

Jewel Redhead - Marie

Jewel Redhead graduated from Columbia University and then went on to get her Masters in Supervision and Administration from Brooklyn College. She is currently a special education teacher in a k-8 school in Canarsie.

Jewel has always flirted with the idea of getting into acting, and when Evelyn told her about the premise of the short she was very excited. Jewel loved being a member of the cast and is looking forward to acting again.

E Talley II - Jaylon

E Talley II, a native of metro Detroit, MI and founder of E-Star Talent, earned his B.A. (Music/French) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and his M.F.A. as a Hilberry Repertory Theatre fellow from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. During his time as Director of the Dwight/Edgewood Theatre Mentorship program at the Yale School of Drama, he began performing with the eclectic gospel jazz ensemble Psalm 150 as principal flutist & vocalist at venues throughout the east coast region. He also served as flutist with the Harlem Festival Orchestra in Manhattan after earning his Bachelor's degree. His theatre credits include: Jim in the national tour of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; Sean in Love Blues at the renowned Crossroads Theatre in New Jersey; The Rich Man in Fire on the Mountain at the John F. Kennedy Museum inBoston, MA; Trevor in the musical Double V at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in New Jersey; Raymond Parks in the regional tour of Rosa's Ride, the life of Rosa Parks, among several others. He can also be seen in a host of independent feature and short films such as The Henchman in The Scent, the Pharmacy Clerk in A Dangerous Place, Eddie in the horror movie Only Go There At Night, Jorge Ortiz in And So Life Goes On and others as listed on IMDB.com (search for E Talley II). E has also received favorable reviews for his work as Choreographer of A Love Like Damien's at WOW Theatre in Manhattan. Deric L. Johnson / Cast

Deric L. Johnson - Darius

Deric Johnson aka “Darius” was bitten by the acting bug after appearing in a BET network television commercial, he has trained at The Sledge Project Studio NY www.tspsny.com and can be seen in award winning independent films such as “Nina.” www.ninathemovie.com, as well as NYU student films such as “Tell Tale Heart.”

His journey in entertainment began as a radio air personality on WFLY 92.3FM and producer of the “The Vibe Show” a weekly public affairs radio program. Deric is also an aspiring blues musician and is the Founder and President of the Brooklyn Blues Organization www.brooklynblues.org a Brooklyn NY based blues society.

China L. Colston / Cast

China L. Colston - Chandra

China L. Colston is an actress & Indie filmmaker fairly new to New York city. She was born and raised in Chicago where she honed her craft as an actress at some of Chicago's most reputable theater companies such as Congo Square, MPAACT, Pegasus Player’s and Eta Creative Arts Foundation. Some of her Chicago Indie film credits consists of the lead in the riveting short film, "Raw Emotions", which was screened at the 2009 Pan African film festival and the Sacramento International film festival. She also played the supporting role in the critically acclaimed comedy feature, "All About the Ring", which was showcased at the 2008 Hollywood Black film festival and the San Francisco Black film festival. Additionally, She's written, directed and produced two shorts entitled, Discontinued and Journey of the heart. She is currently in pre-production for her first feature film, "DARK SEED". R-J Seikaly - TV Host

R-J Seikaly is a recent graduate of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in NYC. He is a working finalist at the Actors Studio. He has played a vast array of roles ranging from Wesley in Shepard's "Curse of the Starving Class" to Edmund in O'Neill's "Long Day's Journey Into Night" at the Actors Studio Repertory Season.
