Hello "Devotee" followers, supporters & fans!!! How is everyone? It took me awhile but I came across a very good article on the subject of infidelity! In it writer Nita ask what really kills a marriage quicker? A physical affair or an emotional affair?

Now I know some of you might be saying physical!!! A spouse has crossed that line once they have engage in sexual activity with someone other then their husband or wife. But the rest of you might be saying an emotional affair leads to a physical one! Is that true? What about affairs that are strictly physical? After Thoughts on The Premiere of "The Testimony of a Devotee"

It's been 6 days since I premiered my film "The Testimony of a Devotee." The one thing that sticks out from the premiere was seeing my film on a projector screen!!! I stood towards the back with the lead actress Jewel Redhead and watched the beauty of the film frame by frame. Seeing the mixture of the audience, friends, family and supporters who came to the event after hearing me on WBAI promoting the film filled me with joy!!!

I knew after that night there was no turning back! Sapphire Productions and the quality productions I set out to create about women and young girls will make it's mark. I worked very hard on the film and I have no regrets. I was very fortunate to have a wonderful production team that brought "The Testimony of a Devotee" where it is today! I wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors & look forward to working with them again!

Jewel Redhead - thank you for trusting me since day 1 and hanging in there through the journey of this production! You were wonderful! Let's make more films together!

Evelyn S. Oliver was born and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens. Her love for film inspired her to create Sapphire Productions. A film production company who's mission is to create productions about women and young girls. She is also a freelance videographer and Final Cut Pro editor.

She became interested in film while attending workshops at Center Media. Her credits with them include "The Speak Out Documentary", "The No No Talent Show" and "The Outspoken Recovery Show". She has also experienced different crew roles on film shoots as a member of the New York Film Collective. With them she has participated in five short films including "Eddy n' Rex (Love the ladies)", "One Dollar", "Thieves", "Stolen Love" and was an extra in an episode of the web series “The Third Age".

Her company's titles include "Why Did You Decide to Vote Today?" and the "SiSTAH Promo". "The Testimony of a Devotee" is Evelyn's first narrative film through her company.

Amber Yoder is a producer/writer of innovative film and new media content. An honors graduate from Denison University (2007) with a B.A. in Media, Technology and the Arts, Amber has worked most recently as Associate Producer on the BBC funded documentary BLAST! with Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Devlin.

As an integral member Respect Films, Amber has worked as a producer on the web series The Third Age and the documentary Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods.

A co-organizer for the NYC Film Collective, Amber has been instrumental in organizing and structuring this production oriented community film group. Amber has produced several shorts with the NYCFC including One Dollar, Thieves, and Super Action News: Zombie Apocalypse. Amber's current projects with the NYCFC include the short film The Last Ride of John Doe and the feature length film The Boyz of Summer.

Filmmaker and cinematic artist Stivan Widick is a native of Northern California where he studied fine art at university while working as a paid student archaeologist. His first proper job as a teen was working for a production company wherein he learned lighting and stagecraft before going to work for Post-Newsweek as a camera operator and editor.

In 2000 Stivanco-founded Persistence of Vision, a commercial production company based in South Florida. His television, short film, and feature projects have carried him as far as New Zealand, Australia, and Germany, and his work has appeared on local and network television, including HBO.

He currently resides in New York City where he provides narrative-driven visual effects and sound production services for independent film and television projects. Stivan survived an airplane crash as a child and although he can now fly a plane, he has never learned how to land.

Born January 5th 1975, in Rio De Janeiro , Brazil, a Country best known for their yearly "Carnival Parties" and the creativity invested behind these huge parties , Heloisa "lola" Barroso also known as "Elle" to her family and closest friends, was already creating costumes with the help of her mother Carmen at the young age of 4 in order to win best costume prizes in which she did at many Carnival events..

At the age of 8 little Lola relocates to the USA. A New Yorker for 26 years now, Lola traveled and worked various high fashion events from NYC fashion week to Miami and California to name some locations. Lola briefly lived in Dominican Republic touring with her ex-husband Producer/DJ "Wilson Santos" as his and his Record Label 's manager. Always putting a creative edge and input towards his Label, music and parties.

In 2006 after the birth of her son "Dionysus" Lola settles down in NYC where she now resides and freelances her work out of "Zion Artistry And Fashions" as a Makeup Artist/Visual stylist and has been fortunate to work with several successful individuals to name a few from Designer Todd Oldham to actor Steven Baur of "Scarface". Jewel Redhead graduated from Columbia University and then went on to get her Masters in Supervision and Administration from Brooklyn College. She is currently a special education teacher in a k-8 school in Canarsie.

Me and my crew putting together my 8 ft Kessler Crane on the set of "The Tesimony of a Devotee". For my short film the crane provided great smooth, airal shots that I have always wanted within my films! For our wedding scene flashback, we positioned the crane to pan down on actors Jewel Redhead and E Talley II to ceate a romantic setting. It worked!!!

On the first day of the shoot. Actress Jewel Redhead and her son Zachary where taking under the care of head makeup artist Heloisa "lola" Barroso and assistant makeup artist Marlena DeRossi. The scene we where shooting was a morning breakfast scene with Jewel, Zachary and E Talley. So I wanted my actor's to have an everyday fresh look.

While Marlena worked on a shy, apprehensive Zachary. Heloisa added her creative skills to Jewel's skin tone. I really love this image of Jewel because she looks very egyptian.
